Adjust according to how much water you're using and your personal taste. Unlike True Tea, tisanes usually benefit from a longer steeping time (typically 4–8 minutes) to fully release their flavour and benefits. You can be generous with the amount of herbs used, but they’re generally brewed just once.
Ginger Specific:
Steep for 5–10 minutes. Warming, spicy, and invigorating — stronger the longer it brews. Great solo or in blends with lemon, turmeric, or chai spices. Excellent for cold days or after meals.
