Adjust according to the amount of water you use and your personal taste. As a rule of thumb, to get the best flavour from True Tea, it's better to use more tea leaves with a shorter steeping time, rather than fewer leaves with a longer steeping time. True Tea can be brewed multiple times, so don’t discard the leaves after just one brew!
Green Tea Advice:
Water temperature makes a big difference to the taste of green tea. For the best results, use water that's around 70–80°C, rather than boiling — this helps avoid bitterness and brings out the tea’s more delicate flavours.
If you don’t have a thermometer, simply let boiling water cool for about 5–7 minutes before pouring — it should drop to around 80°C. Alternatively, mix 1 part cold water with 2 parts boiling water to quickly bring it to the right temperature.
