Adjust according to how much water you're using and your personal taste. Unlike True Tea, tisanes usually benefit from a longer steeping time (typically 4–8 minutes) to fully release their flavour and benefits. You can be generous with the amount of herbs used, but they’re generally brewed just once.
Lavender
Steep for 3–5 minutes to avoid an overpowering or soapy taste. Use small amounts for a light, floral aroma. It works beautifully in blends with chamomile, lemon balm, or a hint of vanilla for a calming, fragrant cup.
