Adjust according to how much water you're using and your personal taste. Unlike True Tea, tisanes usually benefit from a longer steeping time (typically 4–8 minutes) to fully release their flavour and benefits. You can be generous with the amount of herbs used, but they’re generally brewed just once.
Rooibos
Steep for 5–7 minutes to bring out its naturally sweet, earthy flavour. It doesn’t turn bitter with longer steeping, so feel free to go longer for a richer brew. Great on its own or with milk, and pairs well with spices or vanilla.
